こんにちは!

Class　3,　4, and 5 , planted sweet potato slips at a local vegetable farm.

クラス3、4と5はサツマイモを植えに行きました。

We dug a hole in the soil and gently placed the slips in.

土に穴を掘り、サツマイモの苗を植え、

Then, we covered the slips with soil,

苗の上に土をかぶせました。

And watered it to help the sweet potatoes grow!

そして、大きく育つように水をやりましたよ。

We will harvest them in 3 to 4 months,

3～4カ月後に収穫します。

Everyone is so excited, we can hardly wait!

みんな楽しみにしています。　待ち遠しいですね。

The farmer showed us other vegetables that were growing.

農家さんは他にも育てている野菜を見せてくれました。

Pumpkins, cucumbers, cabbages, and carrots …

かぼちゃ、きゅうり、キャベツに人参…
