Today we welcomed Dr. Duffy from the U.K. to Stella.

本日、英国から医師のダフィー先生をステラにお迎えました。

Dr Duffy is a licensed doctor with 30 years experience in the medical field.

Drダフィーは国際医師免許を持ち、医療分野で30年の経験をお持ちです。

He taught us how to effectively perform CPR and how to correctly use an AED machine on children and adults.

心肺蘇生法の効果的な方法と、子どもから大人まで使えるAEDの正しい使い方を教えていただき、

We then learnt how to correctly treat bleeding, choking, and head injuries.

また、出血、窒息、頭部外傷の正しい治療法を教えて頂きました。

It is always important to call for professional help first, and then treat the injured person accordingly until help arrives.

まずは119に助けを求め、助けが来るまで負傷者に適切な処置を施すことが常に重要です。

We sincerely hope that we will never have to apply these skills in any situation in the future but it is very important to be ready and prepared when something happens. 

私たちは、これらのスキルを将来応用する必要がないことを切に願っていますが、何かが起こった時の準備と心構えはとても大切です。
