Today, we harvested our sweet potatoes together!

今日はみんなでサツマイモの収穫をしました!

In the morning, Class 2 waited patiently for the bus to arrive and sat down together putting on their seatbelts!

クラス2はバスが到着するのを待って、シートベルトをして一緒に座りました。

We sang many songs along the way and enjoyed looking outside the windows at the different places that we passed by.

バスの中でたくさんの歌を歌い、通り過ぎるいろんな場所をに眺めて楽しみました。

When we arrived at the garden we were met by two kind ladies who showed us where the potatoes were hiding!

畑に着くと、とっても優しい方が出迎えてくれて、さつまいもがどこに隠れているか教えてくれました。

We pulled on stalks and used our trowels to dug up the potatoes like finding hidden treasure!

茎を引っ張ったり、スコップを使って、隠された宝物を見つけるようにさつまいもを掘り出しました。

All of the students were able to find a potato and we went back to Stella on the bus, singing all the way!

生徒全員がさつまいもを見つけることができ、歌いながらバスでステラへ戻りました!

We can't wait to see what the sweet potatoes will become so that we can eat them!
