Today is our last day of Summer Program. We had another busy, but fun day! We sang and danced our Danish, Mexican and Australian dances, then we had lesson time. Today we made passports and put stamps in the passports. There are so many countries we’d like to visit one day. For today’s craft the kindergarten kids made colorful Egyptian headdresses, and the elementary kids made their own original flags. For lunch we had an International Buffet. We had bibimbap from Korea, spaghetti and pizza from Italy, gyoza from China, sausages from Germany, hamburgers and French fries from America, yaki onigiri from Japan, and corn, broccoli and soy beans. After lunch we relaxed and watched the movie “Coco”, and ate churros from Spain for a snack. Then we had pinata time and all had a turn at hitting the Sponge Bob pinata. It was so exciting to get snacks and stickers from the pinata, and also to receive a certificate and cool present. Thank you so much for participating in this year’s Summer Program. We enjoyed the last 3 days so much, and were so happy to see old friends and new friends as well as our present kindergarten friends. 今日はサマープログラム最終日。今日も忙しくも楽しい一日でした!デンマーク、メキシコ、オーストラリアのダンスを歌い、踊った後、レッスンの時間がありました。今日はパスポートを作り、スタンプを押しました。いつか行ってみたい国がたくさんあります。今日のクラフトでは、幼稚園児はカラフルなエジプトのかぶりものを、小学生はオリジナルの旗を作りました。昼食はインターナショナル・ビュッフェ。韓国のビビンバ、イタリアのスパゲティとピザ、中国の餃子、ドイツのソーセージ、アメリカのハンバーガーとフライドポテト、日本の焼きおにぎり、そしてトウモロコシ、ブロッコリー、大豆が並びました。食後は映画『ココ』を見てくつろぎ、おやつにスペインから来たチュロスを食べた。その後、ピニャータイムがあり、全員がスポンジ・ボブのピニャータに順番に当たった。ピニャータからお菓子やシールをもらったり、賞状や素敵なプレゼントをもらったりして、とても盛り上がりました。今年のサマープログラムにご参加いただき、本当にありがとうございました。この3日間をとても楽しく過ごすことができ、幼稚園のお友だちだけでなく、昔からのお友だちや新しいお友だちにも会えてとても嬉しかったです。素敵な夏休みをお過ごしください。Yoko、Jackie、Daniel、Siobhan、Hana、Trie、Tomiko、Ami、Shiho、Wakako
